Welcome to MintCut. Please read these Terms of Use (“Terms”) before using the app or website. By accessing or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy.

1. Services and licence

MintCut provides mobile video background removal, scene compositing, editing, and export tools. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable licence to use the Services for lawful personal or commercial creative purposes.

2. Your content and responsibility

You retain rights in the content you import, edit, and export. You represent and warrant that you own or have all rights, licences, and permissions needed to process, edit, and use that content. You are solely responsible for your content and for its use, publication, or distribution.

3. Prohibited conduct

You may not use the Services to create, distribute, or facilitate unlawful, infringing, fraudulent, harassing, defamatory, hateful, privacy-invasive, or otherwise harmful content; infringe another person’s likeness, copyright, trademark, or other rights; interfere with, reverse engineer, circumvent security measures for, misuse, or violate applicable law in connection with the Services.

4. Subscriptions and payment

Some features may require a MintCut Pro subscription. Price, term, trial eligibility, and renewal terms are shown by the App Store before purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple ID; subscriptions renew automatically under App Store rules unless auto-renewal is turned off in your Apple ID subscription settings before the end of the current period. Cancellation generally takes effect after the current paid period. Refund and billing matters are governed by Apple’s rules.

5. Intellectual property

Except for your content, the Services’ software, name, marks, interface, design, and other materials are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. You may not copy, modify, rent, sell, distribute, or create derivative works from the Services without permission.

6. Changes and availability

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue parts of the Services for product, technical, security, or legal reasons. We aim for a reliable experience but do not guarantee that the Services will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for every device, region, or use case. Keep your own backup of important work.

7. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Services are provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that cutout, export, or other results will be suitable for a particular purpose. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses arising from use or inability to use the Services, lost content, third-party services, or indirect, incidental, special, or punitive damages. Non-waivable consumer rights remain unaffected.

8. Updates to these Terms

We may update these Terms and will post the new version and effective date on this page. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Services.

For questions about these Terms, use the developer contact channel shown on the App Store product page. These Terms are interpreted and disputes handled under the mandatory law that has jurisdiction over you and the Services; consumer rights that cannot lawfully be limited remain unaffected.
